What is Galvansing?
This is the process of applying a layer of zinc coating to iron or steel to prevent corrosion. After application this will then act as a barrier protecting the underlying metal from rust and ultimately extending the products lifespan. When given the option, we always recommend our customers choose to galvanise their products, as it will increase durability and reduce maintenance to your iron and steel work.
What is Powder Coating?
Powder Coating is a dry finishing process using finely ground pigment and resin that is sprayed on to steel or metal. Then it is placed into our large oven which melts and fuses the powder. Powder Coating provides a durable and corrosion resistant finish. This paired with galvanising creates a complete, weatherproof and durable product that is resistant to rust and corrosion.
